4. If I want to go to any German university, how can I apply? And what is the studying language there?

PRE-APPLICATION FORM FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS

• Identification page of your passport
• Transcript/Credential/Diploma copies from schools attended
• Test score copies, if any (TOEFL, etc.)
• Resume (CV) listing your educational and professional background, awards earned, contact details of at least 2 recommendations, and other useful information you see necessary.

To attain an English Language course, You need to have sufficient Bachelors overall scores ( Average 7.5 or up CGPA) and IELTS scores ( 6.5 Bands min.). If this 2 criterion meets your profile, there are chances to get admission in English taught program.

Otherwise, You can select the German Taught program as well. Only one thing you are required to do is obtain German language coaching. ( Till C1 level). You are required to get a minimum of 5.9 or up CGPA in your bachelor’s.

Note: You can take up your study in English & German as well. But it depends on your profile and also depends on the course you select as there are fewer seats to get enrolled in English taught the program.

5. I have done a master’s in India & want to apply again for the Masters’s in Germany, Will it be possible to get a visa?

It is possible. Make sure for Masters, you choose a different subject category so that you can convince the embassy on that point better.

6. What is the difference between German technical universities (TU) & (FH) universities?

There are two kinds of universities:

• TU universities stand for Technical University
• FH universities stand for Fachhochschule university

TU universities focus more on research-based learning. They have 90% of the course based on research projects and they do have Industry fund to invest in their R&D, If you are looking forward to achieving a Ph.D. after masters or would like to have a professional career in teaching, these universities are best.

FH universities are basically applied science focused on a practical approach. The courses are 70–80% Practical. These universities have very strong relations with industries. If you are going to do a job right after you graduate, FH suits your goals.

After selecting TU, you can still apply to companies for a professional job. Mostly Education is the same but the only difference is TU is more research-based learning and FH is more of problem-solving learning.

7. How Important it is to apply early for a master’s in Germany?

If you are planning to apply for winter 2017 intake, the idlest time to start preparing for admissions is the end of Feb or starting of March. Most German universities’ registration dates start from March itself. The deadline for applying in Winter Intake is 15th July. But if you wait till June to get your certificates right after you complete your final semester exams, it will be too late because you already have missed some university dates.

The planning not only covers the deadlines but also covers many exam preparations. from Jan to July 2017, you can do as much as to build your profile, so till the date, you apply to university, you will have sufficient certifications to be an idol applicant. 9. Is a German language certificate like test-DAF/DSH mandatory for a job in Germany for non-EU applicants?

Testdaf/ DSH is the German language-based examination that is required to do your master’s degree in German taught the program. German companies don’t ask for DSH certificate, rather they see your language proficiency through interview-based sessions and your technical terms knowledge regarding the German language.

10. Can I go to Germany to study through GRE?

Absolutely yes!

GRE scores matter especially when applying to Top universities.

Though in many universities, GRE is not mandatory. But if you add it to your profile, it will help you for sure.

11. How do I get a job in Germany from India?
